Laravel Code Audit · Fixed price

Find what breaks first in your Laravel SaaS. Before your customers do.

5 business days. Every risk I find, ranked. A 30/60/90-day plan your team can execute.

Fixed price

$3,500

£2,600 · €3,000

Paid upfront · 5 business days from access

Book a 30-minute call (opens in new tab)

Refunded in full if you stop at the end of the kick-off.

$1,750 of the audit is credited against a sprint, or a Lead plan of 3 months or more, signed within 14 days of the debrief.

Prices before any applicable tax.

When to book it

  • Pages and API calls get slower every time customers grow.
  • Every deploy is a gamble, and nobody owns the release.
  • Billing and webhooks drift from what customers paid for.
  • You inherited the code and need to know what you are standing on.
  • The front end is still on Vue 2 or Nuxt 2.
  • Nobody has checked which customer can see which tenant's data since the first release.
  • Features your customers wait for keep slipping, sprint after sprint.
  • You want AI in the product, and nobody can say what it costs per customer, what data it sends out, or what happens when the provider fails.

Every sprint spent working around it is a sprint taken from the roadmap. The longer it waits, the more the fix costs.

What I inspect

  • Code structure and domain boundaries
  • Data model, indexes and the slowest queries
  • Queues, jobs and scheduled tasks
  • Billing, webhooks and idempotency
  • AI features, when present: usage limits, failure handling, cost per call, data sent to the provider
  • Security: authentication, tenancy, access rights and the common Laravel vulnerabilities (OWASP)
  • Deployment pipeline, environments and monitoring

How the 5 days run

  1. Day 1

Kick-off with you and your team, read-only access set up

  2. Days 2 to 4

Review of the code, the data model, the queues and the deployment

  3. Day 5

Written report and 30/60/90-day plan delivered, debrief booked

What you get

  • A written report: every risk I find, ranked Critical to Info, with the fix and its effort (XS to XL)
  • A 30/60/90-day plan your team can execute from the page
  • A 60-minute debrief, live or as a written Q&A
  • PDF, Markdown and CSV, or straight into GitHub issues
  • Written-first: async updates all week, every finding in writing

Your risk ends at the kick-off.

Stop at the end of the kick-off meeting, send a written request within 24 hours, and you are refunded in full within 14 days. The data you shared is deleted, with written confirmation.

Scope

One deployable application, up to about 120,000 backend lines and 60,000 front-end lines, one environment. Larger apps are quoted separately. The audit delivers the diagnosis and the plan. Implementation is a separate engagement.

Already know where it hurts? Focus: two business days on one axis (billing and webhooks, security and access rights, performance, deployment or AI). $1,750 (€1,500).

A new feature shipped, or the audit findings fixed

Implementation Sprint

Scoped in writing before day one: the audit findings fixed, or a new feature shipped. Merged with your team, documented, with a written note.

  • 5 days

    $4,750

    €4,000

  • 10 days

    $8,900

    €7,500

AI features shipped into your existing app: document import, generation, review, matching, translation. The provider is swappable, usage is capped per account and per plan, failed calls are retried, then shown to your users as a clear message, and only the data the feature needs is sent out.

Migrations (Vue 2 / Nuxt 2 to 3, Laravel upgrades) are fixed price, on quote after an audit.

Prices before any applicable tax.

Who runs the audit

Me, directly: I run the call, the audit and the debrief myself. More than ten years of production backends, and SaaS products of my own that I keep running.

Questions before you book

Is my stack in scope?

Laravel is the core, Symfony comes second: backend, data model, queues and deployment. Vue, Nuxt, TypeScript and Inertia are covered where they touch the backend.

Who sees our code and data?

Access starts once the NDA and the data processing agreement are signed. It is read-only, production data stays in your systems, and your code is deleted 30 days after delivery.

What if our code is in good shape?

Then the report says so, with everything that was checked. You get an independent confirmation, and the plan lists what to watch as you grow.

Who implements the plan?

Your team, from the plan as written. If you want me to ship part of it with them, that is the Implementation Sprint or the Fractional Laravel Lead.

What if we stop early?

Send a written request within 24 hours after the kick-off: you are refunded in full within 14 days, and your data is deleted with written confirmation.

Know what breaks first, before it does.

In 30 minutes we look at your product and decide whether the audit fits.

P.S. One audit at a time: you pick the start date when you book.
