Privacy Policy

What this site is
A set of static pages about my work. There is no form anywhere on it, no account, no newsletter and nothing to fill in. It runs no advertising, sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. The fonts and images come from this domain. The only scripts loaded from elsewhere are two visit counters, Cloudflare Web Analytics and Umami, described below.
Who is responsible
Adel Zemzemi is the controller for the little personal data described below. You can reach me at hello@adelzemzemi.com. The SaaS products presented on this site are operated by Vimatech Ltd and have their own privacy policies on their own sites. Nothing here describes what they do with your data.
Hosting
The site is served by Cloudflare. Delivering a page means Cloudflare handles the technical data any web server sees: your IP address, your browser's user agent and the page you asked for. An IP address counts as personal data, which is why this section exists. The basis is my legitimate interest in running a working, secure site. Cloudflare keeps those logs on its own schedule; I do not download them or use them to identify or profile anyone. Cloudflare also serves one small script from this domain that decodes the email address on the page, so address-harvesting robots cannot read it. No cookie is set when you visit.
Visit counts
I use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits: which pages are read, which site sent the visitor, and the country, browser and type of device. It sets no cookie, stores nothing in your browser and does not follow you from one site to another. I see totals, never an individual visitor. The basis is my legitimate interest in knowing which pages are useful. The script is served by Cloudflare from static.cloudflareinsights.com.
I also use Umami Cloud, on its EU region, to count clicks on the buttons that matter: booking a call, an email link, a link to another site. Each click is recorded with the page, the section of the page and, for bookings, the channel that brought the visitor. Umami sets no cookie and stores nothing in your browser either, and I see totals only. The basis is the same legitimate interest. The script is served from cloud.umami.is.
If you email me
Every contact link here is a plain mailto: that opens your own email client, and nothing reaches me unless you press send. The message travels from your mail provider to mine without passing through this site. My mailboxes are hosted on Google Workspace, so Google holds what you send me on my behalf. Your address and your message are used to reply to you and, where relevant, to discuss working together. I keep correspondence for up to three years from the last exchange, then delete it.
If you book a call
The "Book a call" buttons are links to my booking page on Rendevo, run by Vimatech Ltd. No Rendevo script runs on this site. Clicking simply takes you to book.rendevo.com, where you answer a few questions about your project and then pick a slot. I am responsible for what you enter there, and Rendevo handles it on my behalf under its own privacy policy. I use your answers and the booking details to prepare and hold the meeting. The link tells Rendevo how you reached this site: the campaign tags in the address you arrived from (such as utm_source), or else the name of the site that sent you, plus the page you booked from. That lets me see which channel leads to calls. Nothing is stored in your browser to do it.
Your rights, and what they apply to
The only personal data I hold about you is an email you chose to send me or a call you chose to book, plus what Cloudflare logs on my behalf when you load a page. If you have done neither, I hold nothing about you and there is nothing to ask for.
Otherwise you can ask for a copy of what I hold, ask me to correct or delete it, restrict what I do with it, or receive it in a portable form, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest. One email to hello@adelzemzemi.com is enough. If you think I have mishandled your data, you can complain to the supervisory authority where you live.
Where the data sits
Three providers are reachable from the United States: Cloudflare, which serves this site and counts visits, Umami, which counts clicks, and Google, which hosts my mailboxes. Where data reaches them outside the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area, I rely on the data protection terms each of them publishes for its customers.
